A Given PLACE

People living in PLACES where they are able to enjoy natural settings are happier. The term biophilia describes the positive human benefits experienced in nature. The biophilic hypothesis suggests that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature, whether with a fishing pole, or not.
